PC Case 3 JB

Presenting concern:
This patient presented to us in 2018, complaining of a restoration on a lower right back tooth that repeatedly broke. The patient was very stressed as a result of the constant chipping and couldn’t stop thinking of her teeth.
Treatment done:
The position, shape and existing restoration were carefully evaluated. It was noted that a filling would not retain on this tooth due to the size and shape of the defect. Therefore, a partial coverage all-ceramic crown was fabricated and inserted on this tooth.
Treatment outcome:
The patient is very happy with the treatment and functions normally. She feels more relaxed and chews freely without stressing about her teeth.
