SI Case 1 SP
Presenting concern:
This patient presented with an upper right discoloured, baby tooth that was short, poorly restored and unaesthetic in appearance. The patient wanted this tooth to be removed and replaced with an implant.
Treatment done:
The baby tooth was extracted and replaced with an implant. Following healing, the implant was restored with a crown, that re-created the shape of the gums. The height of the gum was matched up to the same tooth on the opposite side.
Treatment outcome:
The patient was very happy with the appearance of her new crown. The crown and implant have been reviewed regularly for 4 yrs. The implant treatment has been successful with the patient maintaining good gingival and peri-implant health.
