IB Case 2 RC

Presenting concern:
This patient presented 3 years ago with decayed, chipped, missing teeth and an infected back tooth. He also had a submerged canine tooth in the upper right area which caused crowding. The patient ate with difficulty and could not function normally.

Treatment done:
Stable gingival and pulpal health was achieved. Grossly decayed teeth were extracted. This was followed by placement of implants where teeth were missing. Ceramic veneers/ crowns were inserted onto the teeth/ implants. A splint was provided at the end of treatment to protect his teeth and restorations.

Treatment outcome:
The patient was delighted with the results. He chews comfortably, is happy and smiles often. He feels motivated and keeps his dental appointments on a regular basis.
