IB Case 1 BA

Presenting concern:
This patient presented to us complaining of multiple missing teeth and requested a fixed replacement. His lower jawbone was excessively worn.

Treatment done:
Bone grafting surgery was carried out in the upper front area and two implants inserted. The upper chewing plane was corrected to give him a pleasant smile. A two implant-supported fixed, 4-unit bridge was inserted to replace the missing front teeth in the upper jaw. In addition, strategic crowns were inserted in the upper back teeth. Due to inadequate bone in the lower jaw, a chrome cobalt denture was inserted.

Treatment outcome:
The patient is very happy with his treatment. His speech is better and he chews without worrying. His quality of life has improved dramatically and he is extremely satisfied with the outcome.
